Main Introduction
Artificial Turf Infill Replenishment
Infill replenishment on Lake Conroe estate properties is a more specific service than simply adding material to a turf surface. The reason infill has depleted matters as much as the depletion itself — and getting it wrong produces a surface that looks restored but performs poorly within another season because the underlying condition was not addressed. Turf Installation of Conroe approaches infill replenishment with the same field-first methodology we apply to new installations: evaluate before recommending, address root causes before adding material.
On sloped Lake Conroe waterfront lots, infill migration is the most common cause of apparent depletion. Gravity and drainage pressure move infill downhill across the surface over time, concentrating material at the lower edge or near drainage exits while the upper zone develops blade flattening and surface inconsistency. The solution in this case is redistribution before replenishment — moving accumulated material from concentration zones back to depleted zones and adding fresh material only where actual loss has occurred. Adding material to a sloped installation without redistributing what has migrated produces renewed accumulation at the drainage exit and continued depletion upslope within another year.
On pet zones throughout the Lake Conroe corridor, infill degradation from antimicrobial failure and bacterial loading is a different condition than simple depletion. Infill that has been degraded by high pet load and Lake Conroe humidity does not restore adequately with fresh material added on top — the degraded material below continues to affect drainage performance and surface hygiene. We evaluate whether existing infill can be supplemented or whether partial or full infill replacement is required for the pet zone to restore performance.
Properly executed infill replenishment on a Lake Conroe estate installation extends surface life, restores blade performance in depleted zones, and returns the surface to the drainage behavior and visual consistency the property owner invested in. We confirm all of this through a post-replenishment walkthrough before closing the service visit.
